Product Introduction:

• Gel stock solution is an outstanding gel stabilizer, an anionic slightly cross-linked acrylic (ester) copolymer, and an alkali-swelling emulsion.
• It plays the roles of suspension, thickening and emulsification assistance in personal care products. The original gel solution is a water-soluble emulsion with low viscosity and is convenient to use.
• After ionizing the carboxyl groups in the formula, due to the mutual repulsion of negative charges, the molecular chains diffuse and stretch, presenting a highly expanded state and becoming sticky. It can produce an efficient thickening effect at a very low dosage.
• Gel stock solution can endow liquid systems with special yield values and rheological properties. Only a very low concentration is needed to permanently suspend some insoluble additives (particles, oil droplets, etc.). Due to its strong suspension capacity, it is widely used to stabilize traditional oil/water emulsions and creams, as well as oil droplet particles and water-insoluble substances in suspension solutions.
• It can provide a beautiful appearance for personal washing formulas, has excellent transparency in transparent formulas, and enhances the bright pearlescent effect in light products.

Application fields:

1. Pearlescent shampoo, body wash, hand sanitizer and other cleaning products.
2. Conditioning products containing high-molecular-weight and large-particle-size siloxanes. For example, conditioning shampoo, anti-dandruff shampoo, and moisturizing body wash.
3. Foundation cream, foundation lotion.
4. Sunscreen, lotion.
5. Thickening formulas containing ethanol, ethylene glycol and glycerin.
6. Hair dye.

Usage method:

1.The usage method in the emulsification system formula

• Dissolve the gel stock solution in water at room temperature, add the other components in the aqueous phase, heat to 70-80 ℃, mix the oil phase in another container, and heat to the required temperature.
• Homogenize and emulsify the oil phase into the water phase. Add neutralizing agent to adjust the pH to neutral, stir while cooling to 40℃, and then add preservative.

2.Usage methods in shampoos, body washes and other cleaning products

• Add the gel stock solution to water, add surfactants such as AES and stir until completely dissolved. Add organic or inorganic bases to adjust the pH of the solution to 6.5-7.0.
• Add other components in the formula and stir until uniform. Adjust the pH and viscosity to the required range.
